2. Is it safe to add my banks into the app?
The app is just as safe to use as your online bank. Frid has partnered with reliable companies to ensure a safe and easy process to connect your banks into the platform.
You must use BankID to connect to your banks, and we make use of the banks' so-called APIs. It is a kind of serving hatch for your bank data that all European banks are obliged to arrange for according to the PSD2 regulation.
In short, this means that you as a consumer have the right to obtain your bank data from Frid and other players, and even make payments (we will come to that later).

5. What is an Account Group?
“Add a picture of the account group on the home page and settings”.
Account group helps you group all your bank accounts with the same category/purpose across different banks altogether. For example, assume you have three different banks (e.g., DnB, Sparebank 1, and Nordea). You might have one savings account in each of your banks. Thus, at Frid, you can group all your savings accounts into one Account Group called Savings Account.
Benefits:
- It eliminates the painful need to open several different mobile banking accounts to check how much you have left in your bank account;
- It gives you easier and better control over your bank accounts.
- It provides an easier and better comprehension of your transactions.
- It provides a greater financial overview across all your banks and bank accounts.

6. What is the best way to organize my bank accounts in an Account Group?
The best way is your way. However, Frid can help you with some recommendations.
Frid recommends you to group your bank accounts by category/purpose. For example, assume you have three different banks (e.g., DnB, Sparebank 1, and Nordea). You might have one savings account in each of your banks. Thus, at Frid, you can group all your savings accounts into one Account Group called Savings Account.
If you have just one bank account, you do not need to worry about how to group it. You just need to make sure that your bank account has the same category/purpose as your Account Group. For instance, I have an expense bank account in my Sparebank 1 bank. Thus, I grouped my bank account into my Account Group called Expense Accounts.
